An unlikely partnership yields great results!

LongDrive Agency worked with Trinity United Methodist church of Arlington to deliver a new user experience for attracting new members. Our idea for Trinity was to flip the experience from a congregational site, to a site more focused on new and potential new members. We achieved this in a few ways.

A new homepage helps visitors find desired information

LongDrive Agency worked with Trinity United Methodist church of Arlington to deliver a new user experience for attracting new members. Our idea for Trinity was to flip the experience from a congregational site, to a site more focused on new and potential new members. The first step was to re work the homepage, because this is the first page most visitors land on. We made sure to work in the most important information at the top of the page. As you scroll down the page, you will find other useful and sought after information for both current and potential new members. We wanted the homepage to act as an information hub for the rest of the site.

Condense and simplify

Finding secondary information on the old site proved to be a tough task. The user experience was such that there was never a clear direction on what path to take. We simplified the process by eliminating and condensing many of the previous pages from the old site. From there, we created a resources page that gives the visitor both a visual cue, and page links for any of the secondary sections. The resource page now gives a broad overview of the entire site, while giving you the option to dig deeper into any particular section.

Video tells your story!

We created a welcome video, which is huge for a few reasons. One, it gives a potential new member an overview of Trinity. It allows the potential new member to make a connection to the church, the staff, the congregation, and the culture. After watching the video, viewers are left with the feeling that they have already visited and interacted with Trinity United Methodist Church and its members. Second, it brings a professional look to Trinity. Potential new members see the video, in combination with the new site, and are left with knowing that Trinity is a healthy, loving congregation.
